In partnership with our valued customer, we were able to convert the delivery casing of a submersible pump from casting to engineering plastic. Conventionally, the delivery and suction case of a submersible pump is made in casting material. As Poly Products supports innovation and development, and our abilities to be a in-house design and injection moulding facility, using the Co-Moulding technique, we achieved this requirement and that led to significant improvement in the assembly of the pump. Also, because of this conversion it has significantly reduced the weight of the part and made it more flexible.
